Sample Voice Vietnamese and Chinese For Roland XPS10 Download

The Sample Voice set includes signature Vietnamese and Chinese instruments such as Tranh zither, Flute, Dan Bau, Dan Kim, and Dan Nguyet, with ready-made banks already programmed. In addition, it also includes electronic instruments, Guitar, Saxophone, and Harmony. The total size of the sample set is about 7MB. This library is made for Roland XPS-10 players who want a practical collection of Asian traditional tones in a compact file that is easy to store and quick to restore. The goal is to give you recognizable timbres that fit Vietnamese music styles and Chinese-inspired melodies, while still being flexible enough to blend into modern performance setups. The Tranh zither voice focuses on a bright plucked attack and a natural decay that works well for melodic picking, intro phrases, and ornamental runs. The Flute voice is clean and expressive, suitable for lyrical lead lines, soft solos, and traditional melodies that need a smooth breathy character. Dan Bau is included as a signature Vietnamese sound, supporting long notes, expressive bends, and emotional vibrato that can be used as a lead instrument in ballads or instrumental sections. Dan Kim and Dan Nguyet are also provided for classic plucked-string colors that match both Vietnamese folk materials and modern arrangements, especially when you want a clear string tone that sits above the accompaniment. The electronic instruments are useful for contemporary layers, pads, and synth textures, helping you build a fuller sound on stage without needing extra gear. Guitar voices can support pop or ballad accompaniment and add familiar chordal textures when you play in a band setting. Saxophone is included for melodic leads and solos, giving you a strong, warm tone that fits many genres. Harmony voices are useful for adding background layers, supporting chords, and thickening the overall sound when you want a bigger arrangement from a single keyboard. Because the total file size is about 7MB, the pack is convenient for quick downloads, simple file transfers, and reliable USB handling, while still giving you an effective set of voices for everyday use on the Roland XPS-10.

Please note how to restore it to the XPS-10 keyboard: first, download the file to your computer. Then format the USB drive on the XPS-10; it will create folders, including a “Backup” folder. Open the Backup folder and go into the “Roland” folder. Next, copy the file “XPS10.SVD” into it. Finally, plug the USB drive back into the keyboard and run Restore. For best results, keep the file name exactly as provided and do not rename it, because the XPS-10 restore process expects the correct backup file name and folder structure. Formatting the USB drive on the keyboard is important since it creates the proper directory layout that the instrument can recognize immediately. After formatting, you should see the Backup folder created automatically, and inside it the Roland folder where the backup data should be placed. When copying the XPS10.SVD file, make sure it is copied directly into that Roland folder, not into a subfolder, and not next to it, because an incorrect path can cause the restore menu to fail to detect the backup. If your computer asks whether to replace an existing file with the same name, choose replace so the new data is used. When you plug the USB back into the XPS-10, wait a moment for the keyboard to read the USB drive, then go to the restore function and start the Restore process. Do not remove the USB drive while restoring, and do not power off the keyboard until the restore is completely finished, because interruption can cause errors or incomplete data. If you already have your own custom setup on the XPS-10, it is recommended to create your own backup first before restoring, so you can return to your previous configuration anytime. Using a good quality USB drive can improve stability, and using a simple USB drive with standard formatting behavior often avoids issues. After restoring, browse the banks and test each voice with different playing strengths, since velocity response can change the character of the sound. Try single-note lead playing for Dan Bau and flute, try arpeggios and ornaments for Tranh and the plucked strings, and try layering with pads or harmony sounds if you want a larger stage mix. This workflow is intended to be straightforward so that even players who are not familiar with deep editing can install the pack and start playing quickly on the Roland XPS-10.
