SFM Style Studio Key 1 Month unlocks the full software for 30 days, giving Yamaha keyboard musicians a focused workspace to create, edit and refine accompaniment Style files on Windows.

Open a Yamaha .STY file, continue an editable .sfmstyle project or start a new arrangement. Select a section and Part, edit or record MIDI phrases, audition the result through a connected Yamaha keyboard and export a new Style for testing.

SFM Style Studio editing tools

• Edit note pitch, timing, duration and velocity in the Piano Roll.
• Use Grid, Snap, Quantize and phrase-length tools for precise editing.
• Record MIDI into an armed Part and loop individual Style sections.
• Mute or Solo Parts while checking an arrangement on your keyboard.
• Control supported Volume, Expression, Sustain, Reverb, Chorus, Filter and Part EQ settings.
• Export Yamaha Style files with post-export data verification.

Complete Yamaha Style workflow

Create and manage Intro I-III, Main A-D, Fill A-D, Break and Ending I-III sections. Work with Rhy1, Rhy2, Bass, Chord1, Chord2, Pad, Phrase1 and Phrase2 Parts. Practical tools include Beat Repeat, Drum Roll, local drum-pattern browsing and supported chord-conversion settings.

Compatible Yamaha keyboards

SFM Style Studio supports Yamaha Style workflows for the Yamaha PSR-S series, PSR-SX series, Tyros 1-5 and Genos 1-2. Compatibility can depend on the Style format and capabilities of each model, so test exported files on your instrument.

MIDI and Audio connection

Connect your Yamaha keyboard to Windows by USB-MIDI or a suitable MIDI interface. Select the correct MIDI input and output in SFM Style Studio, then use the connected keyboard to audition Parts and sections. To hear or record the keyboard sound through the computer, connect the keyboard audio outputs or USB Audio to an audio interface or supported audio input.

Important: SFM Style Studio is a MIDI and Style editor, not an audio-recording workstation or software synthesizer. Live audition sound is generated by the connected Yamaha instrument. It does not host DAW audio plug-ins or process separate audio tracks from the keyboard.
